Africa: Gap Year Programmes
A gap year to Africa – the 'captivating continent' will certainly cause some envy. They say Africa gets under the skin, once seen, never forgotten and sure to return…
From the majestic Victoria Falls to the awe inspiring landscapes of the Mara, Tsavo, Ngora Ngora crater and the Sergengeti – natural phenomenoms which are sure to blow the mind.
Setting foot on this continent will fire up your travel bug and your desire to make a difference for the people and places you meet.
So, take the leap - the perfect gap year solution. Why? Because in any of our programmes you’ll have the opportunity to get stuck into contrasting projects in different locations…challenging both your mind + your muscles whilst traveling the length and breath of your chosen destination - sounds good to me!
Travel as part of a Leap Team
Volunteering for us is all about all about teamwork - we find that our Leapers have more fun and are more effective when they travel as a group. They rally each other along and tackle the projects head on to complete in the time available.
We have 4 different teams departing to each country each year: Jan, Apr, July + Sept. We put the teams together and hook you all up via Facebook before hand. All you have to do is book your place!
Average team size is 12, mix girls + boys, from all walks of life, ages 18 - 25.
