Application Time Line – What Happens Next?

Please note this is a guide – we can arrange a placement with as little as a month’s notice.

Complete Application Form, detailing skills and type of placement desired and send to The Leap.
Consultation to establish desired placement and then receive detailed information.
1st Payment deposit due - £100, which reserves your space on the placement and covers the Briefing and Training Course, which your parents are welcome to attend.
Confirmation of Placement.
6 months prior to departure - 2nd payment due - £500. Ongoing travel and planning administration.
3 months prior to departure - receive Travel Booklet covering: medical, safety, responsibilities, visa, equipment and clothing list. Receive detailed information sheet on work placement and partner/group (if applicable).
2 months prior to departure. - final balance and airfare due.
2 weeks prior to departure - receive air ticket and final documents, including – latest Foreign Office and immigration advice and emergency procedures / contact details.
