A Gap Year in Cambodia will cast you into the 'kingdom of contrast'... from the mystical beauty of Angkor Wat, to the charismatic capital of Phnom Penh and revitalised city of Siem Reap. The south coast is edged by tropical islands, with barely a beach hut in sight. Inland lie the Cardamom Mountains and the mighty Mekong River carving its way through the country. The Northeast is a world unto itself, it's wild and mountainous - home for Cambodia’s ethnic tribes.
A gap year volunteering with the Leap will have you exploring it all whilst making a difference to the communites you'll meet.
Gap Year Cambodia Project Locations
Phnom Penh - the Capital
First phase you'll live in this social and fun city, travelling by bike or tuk tuk to the projects which are either close by or further out in the rural village of Udong.
Siem Reap
Second phase is also spent living in the city and again travelling to projects close by or outside in the rural village of Samrong.

Cambodia Gap Year Summer Leap
6 weeks living in the vibrant city of Siem Reap working with orphans, teaching English to tuk tuk drivers and implementing fresh water in remote villages outside the city near Angkor Watt.
Time Out Hang out on tropical islands, jungle trekking, indulge in colourful markets, explore the wonders of Angkor Watt.
