Cambodia Gap Year Programmes
Taking the Leap to Cambodia will cast you into the 'kingdom of contrast'... from the mystical beauty of Angkor Wat, to the chaotic but ever charismatic capital of Phnom Penh and the culturally rich city of Siem Reap, before hitting the south coast fringed by tropical islands, palm trees and idyllic turquoise waters - sounds good to me!
In each location you'll challenge yourself with a mix of conservation + community projects to get your teeth stuck into and to achieve in more ways than one.
Why so good?
Different challenges in different places - the thirst for travel is taken care of.
Travel as part of a Leap Team
Volunteering for us is all about all about team work - we find that our leapers have more fun and are more effective when they travel as a group, who rally each other along and tackle the projects head on to complete in the time available.
We have 4 different teams departing to Cambodia each year: Jan, Apr, July + Sept. We put together the teams and hook you all up via Facebook before hand. All you have to do is apply and book your place!
Average team size is 12, mix girls + boys, from all walks of life, ages 18 - 25.
Experience 3 Locations

For those on the 10 week or summer placement, part of your time will be spent in this glorious coastal region working with local beach kids.
+ Phnom Penh
The placement also offers the opportunity to take a long weekend to the capital to experience the life and vitality of the city.
