Borneo Holiday
filed in Announcements, Asia, Borneo, Gap Year on Sep.15, 2009
Borneo, one of the largest islands in the world and located in South East Asia, this is a total paradise! With lush rainforests, stunning beaches and hot hot hot sun this place should definitely be on your holiday wish list.
A Borneo holiday doesn’t have to just involve lazing on the beach (although drinking cocktails on the beach from a coconut should definitely be involved)! More than a Borneo holiday would be an incredible Borneo adventure, volunteering in some of the most incredible spots of the island. Might as well make a really positive impact whilst your there right!!?
If you have never seen a picture of a sunbear then look it up on google…they are soooooooo cute and you could be helping build the enclosures for them and

Cuteness!!!!!!
hanging out with the illusive organgutans. Actually here’s a sun bear!!!!!! How cute is this ->
Rather than just a Borneo holiday, why not immerse yourself in the culture and live amongst the local people working alongside them and helping with reforestation, construction of community centres and marine conservation, and get your PADDI open water diving certificate whilst your at it!
And its not just the humble gap year student who fancies a bit of Borneo holiday beauty. Our July team bumped in to Tony Blair looking rather sweaty out there. Check out Suzanne and Chloe with their new mate Tony by clicking here!
The question really is: Do you want a Borneo holiday or do you want to spend an incredible 6-10 weeks on the stunning island of Borneo, living within rainforest, city and beach environments, making a difference to local communities and wildlife, getting a real taste for the culture???? Actually what kind of stupid question is that!…I know what I would pick………
