I don’t know if you know this but Africa is the second largest continent in the world….. but is so amazing and bursting with incredible environments and people it maybe should actually be the size of the whole universe!!CIMG1721

Its many things to many people is good old Africa, for some its home, for others its an adventure and for some its blooming paradise but if there’s one thing you can say its that Africa IS for visitors!!

Stretches of pure white sand, crystal clear ocean and safari in world famous national parks are what makes Africa for many visitors. For Leap volunteers it’s much more than that (although paradise beaches and safari galore are definitely P1010073involved, don’t you worry). The culture, the way of life and especially the people are what truly make Africa for our fantastic leap visitors… If you can even call our volunteers just visitors that is.

Spending 10 weeks right in the heart of Africa turns our wonderful teams of volunteers in to pretty much part of the beautiful traditional furniture out there…much to their delight!! Becoming part of a community, making new friends and truly making a difference to the environments and to peoples lives, is what totally makes Africa for our visitors.
