Jo, Katherine, Lucy, Sophie and Cecilia...Kwa Madwala's newest elephant grooms!

News just in on the South Africa Horse Team:

Along with daily rides of Kwa Madwala’s 7 Boereperde horses, the April Horse Safari Team have recently been getting in on the action with the other Leapers, taking part in routine reserve work with the main Leap team and building an extension to the orphanage in nearby Dindella, which shuold be ready to start decorating any day now…

Here’s the plan for the coming week:
Wednesday: The girls will be doing their usual 1.5-2 hour ride around the reserve, then we’re all off to the community again to complete the orphanage extension they’ve decided to spend their donation money on and to carry on the good work there!
Thursday and Friday:
The whole team will be heading next-door to the Kruger National Park for the Safari of their lives.
Saturday: It’s back to the community again and the girls will be elephant grooms for the day which involves interaction, ride, mudbath and general chilling with the two tame eles!
Sunday: Football day, where will challenge on of the local teams (last week we formed two teams, the girls team won 3-2 and the guys won 5-3 so the the ball is rolling as we getting closer to the world cup!)
Monday & Tuesday: Riding and caring for the horses as usual and then it’s roll up the sleves time again as we’re off to the community.
