Dear Alice, Guy and everyone else at the Leap.

Thanks for making my time in Venezuela incredible, and particularly helping with the passport fiasco. I couldn’t have sorted that out without you. My time in Venezuela was incredible. Everything there was so different to what I have been used to when traveling in Europe. Its definitely one of the best experiences I have had and has encouraged me to travel again in south America in the future.

In terms of the project work I think we all learned to get the most from the presentation work you need preparation and hard work. Also very key was giving an incentive to the people to turn up – some food and drink, a salsa party. They’ll be enticed by that and so the audience will be larger. We didn’t do this so maybe its something  for the next leapers to think about. Also the beach clear-up was a great success but we didn’t think about how the rubbish collected in the bins we built is going to be transported of the islands for collection. Again something for the next team of Leapers?
