Hope all is well your side, we are full steam ahead ourside!
The April South Africa Team seem to have settled in well and are enjoying themselves despite the bad weather. So far the group have got stuck in a few tasks. We have been to the community, clinics and witchdoctors (traditional healers). They have also been to the orphanages and have evaluated where they would like to focus their community work on and their donation money. We went through to the rehabilitation centre, reptile park and Jessica hippo this past weekend and all had a ball! The group are nursing some sore heads after have a party for Charlotte’s birthday last night!
This coming week we have anti poaching patrols, bushwalks and game drives lined up as well as conservation work consisting on road fixing after a week of heavy roads they in a bad state! The first Microlight group will fly this week as well. This weekend its classroom time and
we teaching the group basic phases in Siswati and Afrikaans. Our first football derby will be on Sunday too! So a busy week ahead!
Here’s a glimpse of our first 2 weeks photo diary!
