Sustainable Development
We work with reputable in-country hosts, whose expertise and knowledge helps us to identify simple but life-changing projects. You will become part of our steady stream of volunteers departing throughout the year whose dedication ensures the projects are completed.
Whether it’s working in safari camps, eco-lodges, protecting wildlife or directly improving the lives of local people through teaching, building classrooms and improving water supplies, you will make a real difference.
Approximately 60% of the cost of the scheme is spent in-country. We employ as many local people as we can to help us facilitate the projects, supporting countless families in poor communities. We also include an additional donation to fund a project specifically chosen by you whilst on your placement.
What we want to achieve here is an ever evolving record of our projects, past, present and future. Little snap shots to update our past volunteers of their projects and its state of play and others to hopefully encourage you to drop tools, hop on a plane and make a difference...
