Teaching Internships

Sharpen your pencils

Teaching overseas is an exciting and thoroughly rewarding experience. Amazing people: check. New skills to spice up the old CV: check. Not to mention the feel-good factor.

Through our programs you will have the chance to spend some time in primary schools at the foot of Kilimanjaro, or help Hanava's local artists introduce painting and drawing to local kids, or support the kids in the Borneo jungle not entitled to any state education.

In all places you'll come in as an additional resource to help facilitate learning in what are often under-resourced and over-crowded teaching environments - for the aspiring teacher, or that someone who just wants to make a difference the experience doesn't get much more hands-on than this.

Where are you looking to go?

One program in Sri Lanka is purely teaching focused where you can really get stuck into the classroom, whilst others have a strong teaching bias but is part of a number of projects to be tackled throughout the program. Have a look to see which you would prefer.
