The Leap Future Value

More than just adventure.

Designed to help students step boldly into their future.

The Leap combines adventure with real-world work experience, helping young people build confidence and gain transferable skills that are increasingly valuable, and increasingly difficult to develop  in today’s world.

Because universities and employers are looking for far more than grades. They want interesting and creative evidence of leadership, teamwork, resilience, communication and initiative - qualities that are best developed through challenge, culture and contribution.

Transferable Skills

Regardless of which country you travel to, every Leap is designed to help young people develop 'transferable skills' - the real-world qualities universities and employers increasingly look for beyond grades alone.

Through adventure, teamwork and meaningful contribution, students gain practical experience, and tangible evidence of the skills needed to thrive in the modern world.

Team work

From day one, students travel, live and work together as a team. Whether building community projects, navigating challenges or sharing experiences, they quickly learn how to collaborate, support one another and work towards shared goals.

Communication

Working alongside local communities, NGO leaders and fellow teammates helps students develop strong communication skills, cultural awareness and confidence in unfamiliar environments.

Problem Solving

Real projects require real thinking. Whether building energy-saving jiko stoves in Kenya, adapting to changing plans or overcoming challenges as a group, students learn to think independently and find practical solutions.

Initiative

A Leap encourages young people to step forward, get involved and take responsibility. From helping lead team tasks to contributing ideas on projects, students develop the confidence to take initiative and make things happen.

Designed to help students step boldly and thrive in their future.

Personal Development

A Leap is designed to help young people grow far beyond the classroom. Through challenge, teamwork, cultural immersion and meaningful contribution, students develop confidence, independence and a stronger sense of self.

Resilience & Independence

Travelling in unfamiliar environments encourages students to adapt, solve problems and take responsibility, helping them grow into more confident and capable individuals.

Time Away from Technology

With less screen time and more real-world connection, students fully immerse themselves in their surroundings, building deeper relationships with people, nature and themselves.

Confidence & Growth

By stepping outside their comfort zones and embracing new challenges, students discover strengths they didn’t know they had and return home with greater self-belief.

Connection & Belonging

Travelling as a team and working alongside local communities creates strong friendships, meaningful memories and a powerful sense of connection to the wider world.
