Whether starting a gap year, joining an U18 or planning a school adventure, every Leap is designed to help young people grow in confidence, gain real-world experience and return with stories, skills and evidence that set them apart.
This is your launchpad.
Our programmes combine adventure, friendship and real-world experience, helping young people build confidence, independence and transferable skills before university, work or further travel.
Along the way come coral reefs, cloud forests, mountain treks, safaris, sunsets, road trips and experiences that few travellers ever get to access.
You'll work alongside inspiring conservation and community projects, gain valuable evidence for CVs, university applications and future careers, and have the opportunity to earn 16 UCAS points through our accredited International Volunteering Diploma or complete your Gold Duke of Edinburgh Residential.
Most importantly, you'll return with lifelong friendships, incredible memories and a clearer sense of what you're capable of achieving.
Some lessons can’t be taught in a classroom.
Our programmes combine adventure, friendship and meaningful project work, giving students the chance to step outside their comfort zones, try new things and discover what they're capable of achieving.
From restoring coral reefs and supporting community projects to safaris, cultural exchanges, team challenges and beachside sunsets, every day brings new experiences and opportunities to learn.
Along the way, students develop confidence, independence, resilience, communication skills and a greater understanding of the world around them. They also have the opportunity to complete our accredited International Volunteering Diploma, worth 16 UCAS points.
Most importantly, they return home with unforgettable memories, lifelong friendships and a renewed belief in themselves and their potential.
Bring learning to life.
Students work alongside conservationists, community leaders and social entrepreneurs, gaining first-hand insight into organisations tackling genuine environmental and social challenges around the world.
From marine conservation and community development to sustainability initiatives and cultural immersion, every programme is designed to develop leadership, teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills beyond the classroom.
The result is deeper engagement, richer learning and experiences that support personal development, global citizenship and future applications. Most importantly, students return inspired, more confident and with a broader understanding of their place in the world.
Leap designed specifically for your group.
Whether you're a family, corporate team, university society, sports club, friendship group or organisation, we'll build an experience around your goals, interests and budget.
From conservation and community projects to leadership development, cultural immersion and adventure challenges, every Tailor-Made Leap is designed to inspire, connect and create lasting memories.
With access to trusted partners across the globe and over 20 years of experience delivering transformative travel experiences, we can create a unique journey that combines adventure, purpose and impact.
Every Leap is built around these three powerful pillars, for a reason. Together, they create an experience that’s dynamic, meaningful, and transformative. No two days are the same, and no one returns the same.

Challenge is where growth begins. It pushes you beyond your comfort zone, tests your limits, and reveals strengths you didn’t know you had. With every step into the unknown, you’ll build grit, confidence, and the kind of resilience that lasts a lifetime.

You won’t just pass through, you’ll dive in. By living and working alongside local communities, you’ll experience diverse traditions firsthand, build empathy, and gain a deeper, more human understanding of the world around you.

This is adventure with purpose. Through hands-on projects that support communities and protect the environment, you’ll leave a meaningful legacy, and take home a deeper sense of purpose.

At The Leap, we believe that who you travel with matters just as much as where you go. That’s why we create teams made up of like-minded individuals at a similar life stage, so from day one, there’s natural camaraderie, shared energy, and a sense of belonging.
Unlike other organisations that group teenagers with retirees, we focus on alignment of age, mindset, and purpose. Together, our teams face challenges, celebrate wins, and form bonds that last well beyond the adventure.

These aren’t just guides, they’re changemakers. From conservationists and educators to grassroots community leaders, our partners are deeply rooted in their local environments. They welcome you off the beaten path, offer rare insight, and connect you to projects that drive real impact.
With their leadership, each Leap becomes more than an adventure, it becomes a meaningful exchange, built on respect, purpose, and shared goals.
Over the past two decades, we’ve proudly built this global network, and we’re honoured to call them partners, collaborators, and friends.
When you travel with The Leap, you’re never on your own. From the moment you book, we’re here to guide, support, and cheer you on. With over two decades of experience and a tight-knit global team, we’re all about making sure your journey is smooth, safe, and unforgettable.
We’re proud members of the Year Out Group and Gap Year Association, which means we meet the highest standards for safety, sustainability, and student support. You're in expert hands.
We don’t do faceless bookings or automated replies. You'll get personalised advice, pre-departure guidance, and 24/7 support while you're away, whether you’re a first-time traveller or a returning Leaper. We’re always just a message or flight) away.
The best proof? Our community speaks for itself. With over 70% of our bookings coming from personal recommendations, repeat midlifers, and returning families, our impact runs deep and our travellers keep coming back.
